The BRAIN BOOK® System is a complete,
home-based cognitive retraining program for persons with brain injury (TBI and ABI) who wish
to acquire compensatory skills for the purpose of maximizing cognitive function. The program
has been successful for people with mild, moderate and severe injuries. A
complete functional
assessment battery is available for anyone who may not be sure if the program will be either
too simplistic or too complex for them.
The BRAIN BOOK® System is appropriate for
people with brain injury who:
are able to read and write (minimum of grade 3 level),
possess self awareness/insight (or are capable of acquiring it)
are highly motivated to function at their maximum vocational potential,
are willing to independently commit the necessary time and energy
to complete the program successfully
Program Design

teach persons with brain injury to compensate for cognitive deficits resulting from brain

in the following areas:
difficulties becoming and staying oriented

difficulties following instructions
difficulties with initiation and follow-through
difficulties with time management
